2010 MTA Award Recommendations
Are you aware of an MTA Member who deserves recognition for services contribution? If so, let us know!
Background
Each year MTA's Board of Directors considers whether Life and Honorary Membership and Outstanding Service Awards should be awarded during the national Conference.
Life/Honorary Membership is recommended by Board and voted on by members at the AGM. Outstanding Service Awards are decided upon by the Board.
Individual members, Branches, Committees, Senior Managers and Business Development Managers have an extensive knowledge of work performed by members, especially behind the scenes, which may deserve recognition. To assist nominations, the Board require all recommendations to be made on the Recommendation Form. Criteria and measurements for each award are provided to assist with nominations.
For those interested in making a recommendation, the following should be noted:
- The Board reserves the right not to approve every recommendation.
- The Board will determine the number (if any) of successful recommendations to be approved - this may vary from year to year.
- All recommendations are to remain confidential – proposed recipients should not be advised of their nomination.
- Individual members, Branches, Committees, Senior Managers and or Business Development Managers are able to make recommendations to the Board.
