The MTA Guild would like to preserve the history of MTA and the Automotive Industry as a whole for future generations. This will be achieved in a number of ways including gathering memorabilia and paper archives and recording oral histories.

Don was a well-known car dealer in the Te Kuiti/ Otorohonga area, being very successful in the sixties and seventies with the Datsun brand, and supplementing the company income selling televisions and fridges.
